Randomly today in games I was getting massive fps drops so I checked hwinfo and my cpu cores and package were hitting 100°C
Took off my cooler and cleaned both cpu and cooler then applied some new paste, load back up and my cpu sits over 89°C idle. AIO pump is definitely working as I can hear it pump around if I put my ear on it, cpu paste is fully spread and my overclock is basic xmp.
Never had an issue until today and nothings changed from what I know

You made sure the plugs for the fans and pump are properly inserted into the CPU headers?
You made sure that the block is properly mounted on the processor? Regardless, to check you'll have to remove the block to see if the TIM pattern left on the processor and block looked right and thus will need to re-TIM and mount it again.
(Again) You made sure the plugs for the fans and pump are properly inserted into the CPU headers?
Can you verify that the pump and radiator fans are responding properly (increasing and decreasing with temperature changes)?
Hope this helps,
...S

Everything is firmly plugged in to the right headers. AIO is running between 3000-5000 rpm. Every fan in my pc is set to full speed, I don't have them running at different speeds depending on temperature. Good even spread across of thermal paste on both cpu and the block

Hello Lex98,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- When did you purchased the processor?
- Did you overclock the processor?
- What is the brand and model of the motherboard?
- Have you tried to update the BIOS of your board?
- If yes, please provide the BIOS version.
- Have you also tried to load the default BIOS settings?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

This post can be closed now, It's 100% down to the aio's radiator being blocked and not circulating the coolant resulting in overheating
