Hi - i have an i7 14700kf and want to install onto my

Gigabyte B760M DS3H AX DDR4 (rev. 1.x)

Its BIOS is F18D

  1. Checksum : 3E8D
  2. Update microcode 0x129 to address sporadic Vcore elevation behavior announced by Intel
  3. Introduce the "Intel Default Settings" and enabled as default, user needs to disable it first to use GIGABYTE PerfDrive profiles
  4. Update microcode 0x125 to ensure eTVB operation normally
  5. Optimize CEP and power settings
Processor support and optimization for i9-14900KS
  6. Update Intel APO (DTT) framework version to 9.0.11405.42569
  7. Add EZ-OC support for AORUS x XPG co-branding DRAM

I am not planning to overclock, light personal use gaming only.

Is it OK to proceed?

Cheers and thanks!!

Hello DICC01,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

Upon checking on your motherboard's website, I can see that there is an updated BIOS version (F19) which has the latest microcode (0x12B). Since the motherboard supports the processor which is i7-14700KF, it is safe to say that you're good proceed.

For reference: B760M DS3H AX DDR4 (rev. 1.x)

Should you have any issues with your processor, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,
