i7 3770k in intel H61 motherboard

Hi al i m new here ! im from morocco .

I have a pc Dell optiplex 390 with a motherboard H61 and cpu is i3 2100 and i want to upgrade the cpu with a i7 3770k.

But even i have update my bios from A11 to A14 teh pc dont work this i7 must work because he is compatible with the motherboard !

I dont know what is the problem !i need you help if possible .

You need to verify with dell that the i7-3770K is compatible with THEIR bios.

An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, and BIOS COMPATIBLE.  Just updating the bios is not an answer unless the bios supports the processor.
