Hi...

I have this cpu and it is not working properly.

I purchased it from Amazon and it is almost 12 months old.

How do I get it replaced?

Describe, in detail, "not working properly".

Have you run the IPDT?

Constant crashing, inability to overclock or even run the cpu at default settings for risk of overheating. Slower processing times when running games. Lagging when opening simply games while certain setting have not been applied. Crashing from opening certain applications. Clashing with anti cheat

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

You need to start the rma process. Intel recently found that all 13/14 gen processors have a fatal design flaw. They should do a full recall, but they don't want to. They will refund you, but they will make it difficult. The 12th gen processors don't have the same hardware issue that 13/14 gen have. You can buy a 12th gen now and and replace your CPU while Intel slow walks the return.
