Crating .pof from .flash?

Using the flash programmer utility in Nios SBT I can create a .flash file that contains the hardware .sof and software .elf. Is it possible to create a .pof from this file so that it can be programmed by the generic USB Blaster programming utility?

You can create a .pof file from Quartus II, go to File > convert programming file. 

Then you need .sof file, and .hex (if you have NIOS II software), then you can create the .pof file easily.
