Digital Audio signal modulation problem

Hi Everyone,I just bought a DE0-Nano board for a Digital signal modulation.Input signals are: clock, L/R channel selection and Data.I want to separate L/R signal and display the signal, modulate them to PWM, and display them.Is it possible to use C code or Verilog to do this?(I also heard something about Matlab simulink DSP builder)Is it possible to do this without using Oscilloscope(display them on PC's quartus II software)? I'm not really familiar with Audio signal processing, can any one help with this, please?Or provide me some datasheet or sample code.Thank you very much!
