Doesn't www.niosftp.com exist anymore?

Hi,

I cannot download anymore stuff from 'www.niostfp.com':

Resolving www.niosftp.com... failed: Name or service not known.

Is the site closed?

TIA,

Fred

Hi,

as I posted in another thread the niosftp server is down.

But instead of this you can use this ftp server to get the files you need:

ftp://sopc.et.ntust.edu.tw/pub

This server does not contain the older stuff that was on the other server.

Great, thanks!

However, I haven't found 'wrs-linux-4.1-176-nios2-wrs-linux-gnu.src.tar.bz2' that we need to rebuild gcc4 for the MMU toolchain. There is a file 'nios2gcc-20080203.tar.bz2', but I don't know if it is equivalent.

Hi,

the Toolchain "nios2gcc-20080203.tar.bz2" is only for the noMMU Version.

Maybe you can ask for "wrs-linux-4.1-176-nios2-wrs-linux-gnu.src.tar.bz2" here in the mailing list:

http://sopc.et.ntust.edu.tw/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nios2-dev

I think there are more people who can help you than in the forum.

Yes, I will have a try (although this list is quite calm those last weeks...).

Thanks,

Did you have success in asking about what's happening to the niosftp server?

Yes! Sorry, I'm on holidays and have a limited Internet access...

Thomas has putted this archive there:

http://sopc.et.ntust.edu.tw/pub/gnutools/nios2gcc4

Best regards,
