Hi dears i want to install model-sim10.1 on my Linux OS(Ubuntu 15.04).
I went to this link: https://wl.altera.com/download/software/modelsim/10.1 and i just download the last entity (that is, v6.6d Service Pack 1 for Quartus II v10.1,with this download link:https://wl.altera.com/servlets/downl...01sp1-lnx&l=en (https://wl.altera.com/servlets/download3?swcode=www-swd-mds-66d-101sp1-lnx&l=en)) I want to know that is this enough for installing the model-sim on Linux or should i download other applications for Linux?(such as the Quartus II or ...).Link Copied

Download Modelsim <a href=" http://www.kerneltraining.com/linux-admin-training/" > linux </a> (http://www.kerneltraining.com/linux-admin-training/)edition from - http://download.altera.com/akdlm/software/acdsinst/13.1/162/ib_installers/modelsimsetup-13.1.0.162.run
Go to the download location of the .run file and type chmod +x ModelSimSetup-13.1.0.162.run Use the command ./ModelsimSetup- ./ModelSimSetup-13.1.0.162.run install Modelsim To start with Modelsim change your directory to 'Location_where_you_installed_Modelsim'/altera/13.1/modelsim_ase/linuxaloem Type ./vsim
