How to make the Quartus project slim for NIOS

I need to send a demo NIOS project(along with bsp and quartus project) to students through email. The size is too too big. How can I make the Quartus project as small as possible? I delete all the HDL, report, bak,ddb files and etc.  

 Can anyone tell me exactly what files I need in quartus project ?

Hi, 

have you already checked if archiving (Menu Project => Archive Project) still results in a too big file? Alternatively you can use some sort of Winzip, WinRar or 7-Zip to generate a compressed archive you can split in smaller pieces your students can reassemble...  Just my two cents. Carlhermann

You will need only the HDL files, the .qpf, the .qsf and teh .sopc file AFAIK
