Installation of Quartus v13.1 message - "You must install 32 bit "libstdc++" library

Hi, 

 

I’ downloaded the “Complete Download” : 

 

Quartus II Subscription Edition Software (Device support included) 

Quartus-13.1.0.162-linux-complete.tar 

 

After "untaring" and launching “setup.sh” – I’ got the following message: 

************************************************************* 

> ./setup.sh  

 

You must install the 32-bit version of the following libraries for the Quartus II installer and software to operate properly: 

> libstdc++ 

... 

 

If you proceed with the installation your software may not function correctly. 

*****************************************************************************************************8 

By running the following command: > rpm -q libstdc++ 

I got: > libstdc++-4.1.2-48.el5 

 

Is there a specific version of libstdc++ that should be installed?

You have to install the 32-bit compatibility libraries on a 64-bit system. They're distro-specific and should be easy to install. What OS are you attempting to install to?
