Installation of Quartus v13.1 message - "You must install 32 bit "libstdc++" library

Hi,

I’ downloaded the “Complete Download” :

Quartus II Subscription Edition Software (Device support included)

Quartus-13.1.0.162-linux-complete.tar

After "untaring" and launching “setup.sh” – I’ got the following message:

*************************************************************

> ./setup.sh

You must install the 32-bit version of the following libraries for the Quartus II installer and software to operate properly:

> libstdc++

...

If you proceed with the installation your software may not function correctly.

*****************************************************************************************************8

By running the following command: > rpm -q libstdc++

I got: > libstdc++-4.1.2-48.el5

Is there a specific version of libstdc++ that should be installed?

Thank you in advance.

You have to install the 32-bit compatibility libraries on a 64-bit system. They're distro-specific and should be easy to install. What OS are you attempting to install to?
