Need advice for my project

Honored Contributor II

I'm trying to run secure hash algorithms on DE2-115. For now i'm not using Nios-II, I want to give inputs through keyboard and display the hash values on a screen, preferably through VGA. I'm just a beginner, is using VGA easier and more flexible on niosII or is it better directly? Also i have written some fun verilog codes and would like to display on VGA, How do i go about it? I found a VGA_Ctrl file in the tools folder from the system CD. Where can i learn how to integrate to my design, Is there any tutorial or any blogs?

Thank you
