i have concern regarding the longevity of EP2C20F484C8N.  I don't know for how long intel will continue to support  this chip:EP2C20F484C8N.

will intel continue to support  EP2C20F484C8N for next 10 years  or is there  chip that currently has similar function as  EP2C20F484C8N  ?

Hi Haissam,

Thank you for contacting Intel Community.

EP2C20F484C8N is from the Cyclone II device family which was introduced in 2004. It currently in a mature phase and is NOT recommended for new designs. Although it won't be obsolete within these few years the life cycle is depending on its order volume.

In the meantime, you can subscribe to our customer notification mailing list at the below link so that you can be notified when an Intel FPGA is going to be discontinued.
