Not able to create project after installed Nios® II SBT for Eclipse on Quartus Prime Standard 20sp1

 We have installed Eclipse for Quartus Prime Standard 20sp1on the RHEL 7as per the article,

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/articles/000086893.html.

After launching Eclipse, tried to create a new project and it was hanging.

 

We installed the same on Fedora 34, we do not see any issues and were able to create the projects on Eclipse. We see the issue only on Red Hat 7.

Has anyone faced this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,


Eclipse that you installed is version 4.5.2 should be supported by RHEL 7. As RHEL 7 support Eclipse until version 4.7.0. May check out this link https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_developer_tools/1.0/html/using_eclipse/eclipse_4_7_0

May be you can try to reinstall again and see.
