Yes unfortunately Rsync didn't finish the document. It's missing specific examples, but if you apply the steps shown in I/O timing in the first chapter (pages 14-22) it should give you a good start.

Unfortunately I've still problems with timequest analysis. As the problems I've met, overpass the subject of the actual post, I've decided to create the new one, that better reflects the discussed issue.
