Replace the GHRD SD MMC to be a smaller EMMC chip?

Hi, Any precaution for us to replace the current SD MMC slot to another eMMC slot? is the communication is compatible all the way?

take note that when follow the golden reference, the SD MMC configuration is in 4 bit data, where not fully utilize all the 8 bit data mode...

Hey the boot time of the soc guide for sd cars is using the golden design? That is not with maximum 8 bit data. Only 4 bit. Could it becomes even shorter boot with 8 bit?

there fore you are good to use any emmc type as long as supported by the controller
