1.alex@alex:/$ jtagconfig

1) usb-blaster [7-1]

020f30dd ep3c25/ep4ce22

2)alex@alex:/$ killall jtagd

jtagd(1154): operation not permitted

jtagd: no process found

3)alex@alex:/$ nios2-download -g ~/uClinux/distro/nios2-linux/uClinux-dist/images/zImage

there are no nios ii cpus with debug modules available which match the values

specified. please check that your pld is correctly configured, downloading a

new sof file if necessary.

Where is the mistake ? kindly any help?

Have you implemented a suitable processor on the DE0-Nano?

From (3), it indicates that you do not have a suitable processor present on the DE-0 Nano.

Ensure you have either pushed in the .sof or the .jic with your processor (with jtag access) into the DE-0 Nano. (if you used .jic, be sure to power-cycle the board) Until you can get the nios2-download (or nios2-terminal) command to function, don't worry about your Linux issues.

I don't suppose anybody here is related to ece. So you might want to ask over there. The distribution maintained here is only accessible via the git, and no other distribution can be discussed in this forum.
