Hi

I'm using Arria10 GX FPGA Dvk in my project.

I would like to ask what is the difference between compiling to Nios ii e and f (how the compiler know in which core i'm using)?

Hi, There is a big difference between the fast core (f) and the Economy core (e). First of all the f core requires license. Please check the following references to understand the difference between them. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/documentation/iga1420498949526.html#iga1409349211173 https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ds/ds_nios2_perf.pdf https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGteIQqNfvY https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nios_II#Nios_II_CPU_family Regards.
