http://tbe.taleo.net/na3/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=altera&cws=1&rid=1087 As an Embedded Applications Engineer for Altera’s embedded solutions, you will be responsible for the following: · Application development using Altera’s Embedded solutions highlighting product features · Supporting Regional Support Centers and Field Application Engineers on escalated customer issues for Altera’s embedded products · Writing technical documentation such as user guides, tutorials, application notes for key features and applications of these products · Developing internal technical training material on our embedded solutions and products · Providing product planning and enhancement feedback to engineering The successful candidate’s minimum qualifications will include the following: · BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience · Experience with embedded hardware and real-time software applications on processors such as Nios II, MIPs, or ARM · Experience with networking protocols, hardware acceleration, and multi-threaded processing using network processors (NPUs) · Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills · VHDL and/or Verilog skills required · C/C++ skills required · Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, Perl, TclLink Copied
