Hi, I am able to run the SD/MMC example from the FPGA Bare-metal Developer Center with an SD card. Now, I'd like to do the same with an eMMC.
My questions are:
1. Are eMMC supported by the HWLIB? The SD/MMC driver specifically says MMC are not supported. Is it possible using the NAND HWLIB?
2. I just want to check if there is an example for eMMC cards? I am using a Cyclone V SX SOM with a built-in eMMC.
Any advice to help get a working example up and running would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for contacting Intel/Altera forums. Apologies for the delay in getting back.
Per your question
1. Are eMMC supported by the HWLIB? The SD/MMC driver specifically says MMC are not supported. Is it possible using the NAND HWLIB?
Per the documentation (https://www.rocketboards.org/foswiki/Documentation/HWLib) , eMMC is not listed under supported category. I don't think using NAND HWLIB as replacement to do EMMC would work though but let me confirm this with our guys here.
2. I just want to check if there is an example for eMMC cards? I am using a Cyclone V SX SOM with a built-in eMMC.
Unfortunately I didn't find any eMMC examples in our database, but I saw there some mentioned on programming eMMC on Arria10
Thanks
Regards
Kian
