Hi. First you have to get the right"Logic" in FPGA, I mean the good .sof file downloaded to FPGA through JTAG.
Then you could download ELF. Could you precise your operations and detailyour error message ? Regards- Mark as New

Hello everybody,
some years go by, but I have the same problem. I have bought an Terasic DE0 nano board (with a Cyclone4) and try to make this tutorial http://www.altera.com/literature/tt/tt_nios2_hardware_tutorial.pdf (with all the requiered files from Altera homepage). Everythings more or less fine (I only got some warnings during compilation but no errors). I also donwload the .sof file successfully and close the programmer window. But when I try to run the count_bin as NIOS2 hardware, I always get the attached error! Please could anybody help me - do I forgot any library or include an important file? THX Dominik- Mark as New

Hello everybody,
nearly two years have gone but I have the same problem when I try to run the "binary_count" programm (http://www.altera.com/literature/tt/tt_nios2_hardware_tutorial.pdf (http://www.altera.com/literature/tt/tt_nios2_hardware_tutorial.pdf)). The compiling in Quartus2web and the downloading of the .sof file were successful, but when I try to run the count_binary example on NIOS2 hardware, I got an error. I get the attached error message ... So, could it be, that there's an failing library or do I forgot to attach an important file? THX, Dominik
