I'm trying to start a simulation of my NIOS design but when I launch Questa from Eclipse tool I see a such error
As a result, my code doesn't executed as I expect.
Could anyone assume what's wrong?
Thanks.

In additional, I've found a such information https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683820/current/nios-ii-sbt-makefile-mem-init-generate.html :
The main question, why Eclipse doesn't generate it.

Hi,
Did you run into any issue in eclipse when building your project?
Could you share your design for me to replicate and check?

Hi,
I just noticed, the .dat file seems to be in your project folder same as your .sopcinfo file.
You might need to move the the .dat file to the directory that is reporting the error or edit your script/makefile in Questasim to search the .dat file location.

But by the way, its still doesn't work. I've done a similar *.dat file before. It always includes the same data. At my simple design I want to see a meander signal instead that I see only low level.

Hi,
Apologies for the late respond, are you still seeing the initial error shown in the first screenshot?
So using the new .dat is the same as using a .dat from previous builds?
I recommend that your question should be file on a new ticket topic on Questasim.

Hi,
There is no update at all. I think the main issue its Eclipse software because it doesn't generate *.bat file or other files are necessary for a simulation process.

Hi,
I am not familiar with Questa, we do not offcialiy support Nios II simulation using Questa sim, might meed to use modelsim:
There is Nios V using Questa sim, but Nios V currently only supported for Quartus pro versions and 10 series board:
