Nios II Dev Tools don't create HEX file

I have a NIOS II project that started out with the "Hello World" example. I'm trying to load this into an internal RAM/ROM block in QSYS (Quartus v12.1) and have the program automatically start after the FPGA powers up. The program seems to be working fine and I can compile and run it from the Software Build Tools. However, the software isn't creating the HEX file that I need to load into the internal RAM/ROM block when compiling the bitstream.

What do I need to do to set up the Software Build Tools to create the required HEX file?
