Hi all,
I have Quartus 4.2 Nios 4.2 and I want to install Quartus 5.0 Nios 5.0. Is there a way to keep my old project opened in the "C/C++ projects" and "navigator" perspective of IDE 5.0, without having to import them after the installation? thanks in advance.Link Copied

Did you figure this out?
Are the two versions co-existing without issues? There is a document titled "Quartus II Project Management" describing "version compatible databases" to eliminate recompilation. I have not tried this yet.- Mark as New

I haven't installed Quartus 5.0 yet but I fear that i had to import the old software project in IDE: I remember that in the last upgrades, i had to do so.
Altera says different Quartus versions can coexist, but i had some problems...
