Hello,
I know that is possible to add more partitions in the flash. Presently, the Stratix dev. board has only one default configuration... just one partition (name = romfs) is the root dev file system. I am a newbie about this topic. Is it possible to add an other partition in order to enable JFFS file system to save binary files? Somebody can tell me if this memory flash area is correct : Flash offset = 0 +-------------------+ | | | linux kernel | | | +------------------ + Flash offset = kernel_size+1 | | | ROM file system | | +-------------------+ And here, can we add another partition? | | | MTD1 | | new partition | | | +-------------------+ offset + 0x600000 I don't want to erase flash+0x600000 which contains user configuration data Best regards ChristianLink Copied
