This is a discontinued processor. While it is possible that this is a "new" (i.e. unsealed package) processor that some distributor had in their dead stock pile, this is very unlikely. It is much more likely that this is a used part. Could it be damaged? Yes, this is possible. Could it be counterfeit? Yes, this also is a possibility. You take your chances when you use an auction site like this.
