In OEM sales, your only warranty comes from your laptop vendor; you do not have a warranty with Intel or any other vendor whose parts are used in this laptop's design.
In most laptops, the processor is soldered down on either a daughter card (and is replaceable) or the motherboard (and typically not replaceable). You thus have to go through your laptop vendor for upgrade or service.

As part of an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) system, tray processors are sold to high volume manufacturers, such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, Hewlett-Packard or Lenovo.
Warranty replacements and technical support for tray processors are provided directly by these providers. Intel doesn't provide direct warranty support.
