I was previously running my CPU with microcode 0x129 a PL1(253w) PL2 (253w) 307a without issue, and after updating the microcode to 0x12B i am having issues that were not happening on the previous version.
Web Browser Crashes
Game Crashes
App Crashes
Have tried to change the SVID to Intel fail safe from its default of auto to see if that would bring about more stability but it does not change anything.
Nothing else has changed on the system other than a bios/microcode update on a system that has been running perfectly fine for the past year.

Hi AlexTodd,
Thank you for posting in our community. To assist you better, could you please provide answers to the following questions?
- Are there any physical damages on the processor?
- Have you overclocked the processor? Please note that overclocking may void the warranty.
- What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
- Have you tried to isolate the issue by disabling the turbo boost feature in the BIOS? If so, can you share your observations after doing this?
Providing this information will help me isolate the issue and determine the root cause of the problem.
Once we determine that the processor is indeed faulty, we will proceed with the replacement.
Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to your response.
