I have just upgraded my PC specs to:
10900k
MSI MEG Z490 ACE - Bios updated to latest
4 x 8GB Trident Z Royal 4266
Corsair HX1200i
I activated XMP and if I leave it on Auto ( 4266 MHz ) my pc reboots with the message overclocking failed.
However, the rams work at a max of 4133 Mhz or lower.
If I leave only two of them on slots 2 and 4 ( they work on 4266 ).
Anyone has any clue why?
Thank you,
Alex

Just because your memory supports those speeds doesn't mean that the motherboard or the processor can sustain those speeds.
