so, I'm back to using my 12700F on my new gigabyte aorus elite x Wi-Fi 7 MB.
we all know it's a locked CPU.
the mb default settings has pl1-pl2 unlimited and the iccmax at 517.75.
i changed them to stock intel settings of 65-180-220.
then it power limit throttles in XTU running the benchmark test.
and all my scores in XTU are lower.
why does it do that on stock settings?
and does anyone know what intel POR is on this mb in the turbo power limit section.

Hello chugzillafx,
Thank you for posting in the communities. From the CPU model, I can confirm that this is not compatible with XTU. Just to make sure we have the correct model, can you please send us a screenshot of the XTU values? just to confirm as well, by POR, do you mean the power on reset settings? I will be waiting for your reply.

yes, it is the 12700F i have had it 2 years now and yes i can use XTU for benchmark testing and stress testing and it even allows me to change certain values also.
and the Intel POR is in the motherboard settings in the turbo power limit section.
i have it figured out now, so no more help is needed i was supposed to have it set 180-180-220 not 65-180-220 that's why it was throttling.
