Hello Chugzillafx,
Thank you so much for the quick response.

Furthermore, altering the clock frequency or voltage may void any product warranties and reduce the stability, security, performance, and life of the processor and other components.

Hello Chugzillafx,
Thank you for posting in our communities.
We wanted to inform you that Intel Default Settings is our way to address or work around the reported issue relating to 13th and 14th generations as we continue to further investigate the issue and find the root cause.
Which means that other processors that have not been affected or do not experience the issue should follow the default BIOS settings of their system.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards,

well i have a 12700K i just got and new Asus Tuf plus wifi6 mb.
I'm asking because i wasn't sure if i should use the intel default profile or just use whatever settings i want.
i didn't want to ruin the 12700K is all not knowing what settings for it are best.
would it be best if i leave the BIOS default then use the XTU preset called speed optimizer?
