I am currently building my new PC and will install the 13900ks 13th gen cpu. I want to install the G Skill Z5 RGB series 64gb DDR5 6400 but before I purchase it, I would like to know if it will be compatible with my intended CPU (and newer cpus) and next gen Intel motherboards.

Hello Gab2,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand that you have some inquiries related to the Intel® Core™ i9-13900KS Processor.
Based on ark.intel.com, your Intel® Core™ i9-13900KS Processor supports:
- Up to DDR5 5600 MT/s
- Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s
Any speed/frequency above the supported one can damage the processor and is considered overclocking. If you use the G Skill Z5 RGB DDR5 6400 you will have to set it to 5600 or lower.
Also, bear in mind that the motherboard manufacturer can influence the compatibility and support, they can lower the supported frequency on their device. I recommend you check with the motherboard manufacturer to confirm compatibility and support.
As a friendly reminder, altering clock frequency or voltage may damage or reduce the useful life of the processor and other system components, and may reduce system stability and performance. Product warranties may not apply if the processor is operated beyond its specifications. Check with the manufacturers of the system and components for additional details.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
Regards,
Deivid A.
