I used to have Intel CPU I9 9900KF CPU the games worked perfectly. I was able to save games and play games as normal.
Then I upgraded the whole computer to the Intel CPU I9 13th Gen 13900KS since then. I am unable to save a game in Commandos Behind enemy lines. Then I am unable to play Dawn of War 2 where the game reverts back to Windows and becomes a problem.
Company of Heroes it tells me the game needs authentication and I get nowhere. I am actually scared to purchase more games on Steam as would they be unable to play.
I have followed what to do if a game does not work, I even put the CPU as a single thread but still did not work as the way I was told it would.
Due to the nature of the games, they are old but still as the games worked on the CPU I9 9900KF then I don't understand why they can't work under the new CPU.
If there is a work around on this please let me know. I am good at following instructions I am fairly confident around the PC.
