Hi,
My PC is crashing frequently. All the softwares are closing randomly without error.
Sometimes i get, STATUS ACCESS VIOLATION and STATUS BREAKPOINT errors in browers.
PDF documents are also crashing while scrolling. Unreal engine and some games are also crashing.
My PC Specification :
Motherboard : Gigabyte Z790 UD AX 1.0
BIOS Version : F13
CPU : Intel I9-14900k
GPU : Zotac 4080 Super
OS : Windows 11 24H2
Memory : 2 x DDR5 Corsair Vengence 32GB. Installed on Recommended slots.
PSU : Antec B750W.
I did RAM tests and both the RAM's are passed.
PC Crashes even without GPU. so I can confirm it is not a GPU issue.
I contacted Gigabyte and their response is,
Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry on Gigabyte Esupport.
1. Please try to check to disable Intel Default setting.
2. Did you set under bios setup XMP to XMP? Please check to set Load optimized Default and check the system under default setting to check if this is over clocking issue.
3. Suggest to installed your RAM at dimms slot A2 and B2 for dual channel configuration as stated under motherboard manual.
4. If above not help, please do send your system to reseller to check if CPU or motherboard issue.
Regards,
Gigabyte
I tried these settings too but it didn't work.
Note : I am not overclocking, it is all default settings.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
