7820HQ and T Junction

Hello,

According to Intel specs T Junction for 7820HQ is 100°C, but I noticed that when the load temperature is kept around 90°C, sometimes one of the cores reaches 100°C. Is This normal? Or will the processor die soon?

Laptop Dell Latitude 5480.

Thank you!

Hello pavel.shackih,

Thank you for joining the Processors community.

Based on your description, your laptop temperature seems ok as long as the computer does not restart, enters in BSOD's or shutdowns itself when it reaches 100°C.

Regards,

Amy C.
