Hello so my performance on games has gotten low a lot ever since I switched cooler, I had the same cooler but I switched it to one that has rgb same one hyper 212 rgb cooler and before it performed very good, but a week later when I switched it, it started being so slow at first it would't go past 4.3 ghz and I have overclock on and its at 5.12 ghz but it still feels very very slow If you can help me fix that and I ran a cpu stress test with thermal boost on and per core on and these are the results.

Savage2001, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to this scenario, you mentioned "performance on games has gotten low a lot ever since I switched cooler", just to confirm:

How are you detecting/monitoring that the performance of the games is not the same?

Which aspects have gotten slower?

Is it happening with all the games or just with a specific game?

In order to make sure and rule out a possible hardware problem with the Intel® Processor, we can try the following:

-Please get into the BIOS of the board and reset all the values to defaults

-Disable any Overclocking option or feature

-Disable XMP profiles on memory RAM

After that, please run the Intel® Processor Diagnostics Tool, it does an overall test on the unit and if it passed the test it means that it is working properly:

In order to monitor the temperature on the system, please install the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility, it will provide a real-time temperature value so we can discard an overheating problem:

If the problem persists after that, please provide the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, please check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Any questions, please let me know.
