Acer Aspire 3 A315-34 C7BT celeron N4020
Hi community, I need your support with this question.
I want to install a DDR4 at 3200mhz but I need to know if the Celeron N4020 supports this RAM (I reviewed and know the speed for this Celeron is 2666mhz) but could tolerate the ram a 3200mhz.
Some details of the laptop:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4020 CPU @ 1.10GHz 1.10 GHz
RAM 4,00 GB (3,81 GB available)
OS 64 bits, procesador x64 W10
Motherboard base: GLK ROSE_GL V1.10

First, you need to make sure that the laptop supports memory RAM upgrades... Some laptops come with soldered-down memory that cannot be replaced or upgraded...
Second, the CPU support (officially) up to 2400 MHz... This is what Intel guarantees for proper operation without the risk to damage the internal memory controller... I don't know where you saw it is 2600MHz...
However, you must also confirm that your laptop supports memory speeds higher up to 3200MHz with this CPU. In the end, only Acer is the only one that can confirm if the memory is upgradeable and what memory speed can be installed...
