Trying to update bios on Getac v200x notebook with intel i7 cpu. I'm looking for a reliable source as the last update I find on Getac site is for windows 7. My getac now has win10 (just got computer and loaded win10) and it keeps running into issues, among which it is calling for a bios update. I'm able to load win10, download all the updates, but still many items are not working correctly in device manager (including the gigabit ethernet connector, after some time). I cannot connect to wifi (it is not recognizing my active wifi) so am loading off RJ 45. After I update drivers, and some time passes using computer (time frame within an hour or two) it kicks me out of ethernet and calls for updated bios. Advice or direction to try?

Hello LeeWhite,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your laptop.
In this case, since you are using a laptop that is a highly customized device I recommend you to get in contact with the manufacturer of the laptop to get the proper steps to update their BIOS version.
You may also need to confirm with them the supported operating systems and the recommended settings for their laptop.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
Regards,
Deivid A.
