Would greatly appreciate if someone could help debug this BSOD issue, I'm at a loss.
Bought the Intel i7 7820X and been battling with BSOD when I run a specific application, Counter Strike GO, with a stop code of 0X124
Thought I resolved this by updating all the vendor drivers, bios, and uninstalling unnecessary software.
The application was able to run without causing to BSOD at launch after the Motherboard bios update and was usable.
However - application crashed to desktop intermittently - debugDaig dump pointed to phonon.dll and Xaudio7_2 (Microsoft DLL)
I opened a ticket with Valve and they passed it onto the dev team.
Now, the other day I started to experience the same problem as before with BSOD at launch with BugCheck 124 caused by GenuineIntel.
Having a lot of problem pointing out the root cause and I would like to attach my dump with !analyze -v
I Ran Prime 95 for 10 hours straight with CPUMEM test without issue.
One thing that sticks out is the following in the dump, tho I could be wrong.
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT
PROCESS_NAME: System
CURRENT_IRQL: f
Please provide some feedback or advice. Thank you!

Hello Middleman,
I understand that you are currently experiencing BSOD when running the game Counter Strike GO.
Regarding this, I would like you to run a diagnostic on the processor using our software Intel ® Processor Diagnostic Tool, after the diagnostic is complete, please post the results here. You can download the software by accessing the link below:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool
Also, if possible, re-install the game completely by deleting all of the files from the system and once re-downloaded, check if the issue persists. I also want to know if this error is happening only with that game, have you tried other games/applications?
Let me know please.
Regards,
David V

Thanks for the response and link, ran the tool and can provide the results.
Now to answer some of your prior questions - crash seems to happen just with Counter Strike Go.
I've also tried to reinstall the application, and removed unnecessary apps.
No other application has caused bsod.
I'm thinking its related to Valves phonon.dll and Microsoft's Xaudio2_7.dll - though bsod shouldn't happen. So not sure if its the micro code or drivers.
Before I upgraded my motherboard bios though, I had some issues with Windows Sleep Mode / Power Management
For example, booting back from sleep - the computer was unresponsive -usb ports, mouse keyboard unresponsive and screen was black (orange led)
Had to hard reboot to bring back the OS. Seems fine now after 13XX bios - and i've switched to hibernate mode.

Hello, I am going to attach the DXDIAG output to this reply.
The only info regarding bsod is the attached memory dump from before.

Hello Middleman,
Thank you for your response,
Regarding this issue, we are going to do the following: Please download the Intel ® Extreme Tuning Utility from the link below:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- Intel ® Extreme Tuning Utility.
Once downloaded and installed, reboot the computer and then open the tool. Take a screenshot of the idle state of the processor, in other words, just with the application open. After that, please run a stress test for 5 minutes and see if it succeeds, if it does, please take another screenshot and attach it to the thread, if not, please let me know.
Regards,
David V

Hello Middleman,
Thank you for your response.
I would like to know if you have overclocked this processor. This is because the BSOD could be happening due to the processor being overclocked as well, since this is a possibility I would like to ask this. If not, please let me know.

Hello - yes with the Asus Rampage Apex VI - The system has a default overclock of 4ghz.
Want to update you with regards to stability issue. Seems to be resolved now.
I am no longer experiencing BSOD and Application crash of CSGO.
It is possible that Valve released an update as per my support ticket with them.

Hello! Could you help me, I have the same problem: Notebook Xiaomi gtx with i7 8550u
Windows 10 crashed to BSOD intermittently. I asked on Microsoft forum, but they directed me to here.
I already ran Intel ® Processor Diagnostic Tool, results and minidumps in attachment.
Also I ran AIDA stress test, windows memory test and I tested ssd - each one was good.
