I have decided to build my own computer and have a question on which I7 to get, the 2600 or 2600K, or the i5 2500 or 2500K I am not a gamer but do a bit of video editing etc...any thoughts?

With all the Talk about Re-Calls with the SandyBridge , I think you should hold off on buying anything until Intel gets through this Bug with the Re-Call ,, You don't want to buy a $300.00 Door Stop.

what's the difference between , the i7 bloomfield and i7 sandybridge?

Sandybridge is the second Gen of I7 , If I were going to build a new sys , Mainboard ASUS P8Z68-V Pro. CPU I7-2600K . Check with ASUS AS for RAM .

Intel makes a Z68 Board But it's a media center board has only one graphics slot so no crossfire and NO OC.
