Dear Intel,
I would need your help to clarify the following.
We knew the computer system needs a clock signal. The clock signal is generated by motherboard or CPU?
If the clock signal is generated by CPU, can you help to slightly explain how the clock signal is generated? I knew how a CPU IC chip is created. I cannot understand how the CPU chip is able to create the clock signal?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello RichardSim,
Thank you for posting in the communities. To answer this more specifically for you, do you have specific CPU in mind? May I please know why you need this information? I ask because I want to know if you are developing a software. Just to make sure we are on the same page, can you please clarify what you mean for CPU IC? I will be waiting for your reply.
