I just ran the utility and passed the test. I just made sure my demo computer had the latest BIOS updated.

I updated the bios. After updating, System passed the CPU Frequency test for the first time. After that it's getting failed few times. Sometimes it will pass the test and sometimes it will not.

It gets failed at 3.1 - 3.2 Ghz(it never goes below 3 GHz) . Is there any pre-requisites for running this test i.e we need to perform this test right after OS loading (at a time when no applications are running) ?

Is there anything to worry about if it gets failed ?? Is there any other setting i need to configure ?

Please advise/

IPDT messages displayed during the test are much more detailed than the summary displayed after the test completes. Rerun IPDT and scroll through the messages as it runs and see if you discover anything new.
