Hi!
My question is very basic, how can I test to see if my CPU is performing at its optimum level? Because the other day, my cpu started thermal throttling because it was at 100 degrees celcelus and I’m scared that my cpu is now damaged because of this, it was in the condition for about 10 minutes. For reference my CPU is a I9-12900k and I’m just worried because when it was thermal throttling my motherboard warning light for the CPU went on and I’ve never seen that happen before. I’m just terrified that my CPU is now broken

Intel produce a Processor Diagnostic Tool that can be downloaded from here . Be aware that this tool will stress the CPU from the outset but it will deliver a PASS/FAIL result.
