Ich habe ein Laptop mit der CPU T2300e. Wenn man nun die Software "Intel®-Prozessor-Identifizierung-Utilities" laufen lässt, erkennt diese Software den Prozessor zwar mit der richtigen Frequenz als Intel-Doppel-Prozessor, meldet aber, dass der Brand-String nicht erkannt wird.
Ist die CPU defekt oder ist bekannt, dass die CPU von den Intel®-Prozessor-Identifizierung-Utilities nicht erkannt wird? Hintergrund ist, dass der Laptop-Computer sehr oft abstürzt. Also ohne Bluescreen, jedoch friert der Desktop ein. Festplatte und RAM-Speicher koennen als Ursache ausgeschlossen werden. Allerdings läuft der Computer nur mit wenigen RAM-Modulen, mit anderen gar nicht - obwohl diese in Ordnung sind. Vieleicht ist der T2300e ja schon mit internem Speicherkontroller, was auf einen Defekt hinweist?

HenningX68: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Processors communities. We are sorry to hear the laptop is not working properly.
In regard to your inquiry about the Intel® Processor Identification Utilities, it could be a misreading and it does not mean the processor is defective.
We do have a tool to test the processor, it does an overall test on it and at the end it will report the results of each feature that was tested on the unit, if the processor pass the test then it should be fine:

In regard to the problem with the laptop, we recommend first to get in contact with the manufacturer of the device directly, remember that even if the problem is the processor itself, they will also provide warranty assistance on it. Additionally they might suggest or provide more technical assistance to try to fix the problem, a BIOS update to the latest version will be a good thing to try and they will be able to provide the instructions of how to do that.
