New processor installed but now my pc won’t turn on it only lights up for a second, I have a h110m pro-vid motherboard and the core i5 9600k cpu. We have tried resetting CMOS and updating the driver software in bios and neither worked. The thing is, if I plug in my old processor (core i3 6100) everything works fine so I know it’s nothing to do with how things are wired. Got and ideas? I’m pretty sure it’s compatible but not 100%

It is a pretty big leap from a i3-6100 to a i5-9600K. You should have checked your MSI resources first, as the i5-9600K is not on the supported processor list:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H110M-PRO-VD#support-cpu
Just because it is socket compatible, does not mean it will work. It must be chipset, AND MSI BIOS COMPATIBLE.
