There is no way for us to tell what processors the toshiba bios supported. It may work, it may not work, or it may work with problems. And, since toshiba support does not exist, you will not be able to ask them.
A personal opinion is that upgrading your 1st gen processor is not really going to help you. You will do better to replace the hdd with an ssd.
