Can you do a Raid backup from the boot drive which is m.2 NVME SSD to the raid backup drive which is a SATA 3 SSD(2.5")? They will both be 1tb, but will it work due to one drive being a M.2 NVME and one being a SATA 3 SSD (2.5")? Will be using windows 10 or 11.

It's unclear why you are using the word 'Raid'. You have an NVMe SSD system drive and a SATA SSD backup drive (i. e., there's no RAID arrays at all). In this case, you can simply copy files from the one drive to the other, or use a backup utility to manage what gets backed up.
Hope this helps,

Hello @LoveWindowsVistaLook

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We would like to add to this conversation that the recommendation when creating a RAID volume is to use the same drive technology: NVMe+NMMe or SATA+SATA.

For assistance creating a backup on a Windows* system, please refer to this article "Backup and Restore in Windows*" and for further assistance with backups, we recommended checking with Microsoft* Support.

Having said that, we will proceed to close this now from our side. If you need any additional information, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,
