Is there a diagram or document explaining the Die area breakdown of Intel SNB E5-2620. Like the area of L3, per core and other elements in the package/die

Hello STK00,

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

We appreciate your patience.

Unfortunately, we do not have a die or block diagram available for the Xeon E5-1600/2600/4600 processors. We do have available a diagram of how the processor interacts with the other parts of the system. We are sharing a link where you can find that information.

https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/612/xeon-e5-1600-2600-vol-1-datasheet-263646.pdf

Because the Xeon E5-2620 is formerly codenamed Sandy Bridge, it is very similar to the Sand Bridge client or desktop processors where die and block diagrams can be found on a third party website here:

https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/microarchitectures/sandy_bridge_(client)#All_Sandy_Bridge_Chips

Finally, please bear in mind that you can use the information as approximations. This is shared solely as a convenience. The info regarding "Third Party Content" on our Intel Terms of Use webpage applies:
