It was working until yesterday. But Today, It can not boot(can not display BIOS screen).

Motherboard' LED error code is 'BF'.

Is it a CPU Problem ?

It maybe a problem of chipset.

I was using DIMM slot with B1 and D1 (each 16MB DIMM).

Today, I canged DIMM slot with C1 and D1, then boot the PC.

Is it a Board(chipset) problem ? or CPU problem ?

Hello Usagi,

I will be more than glad to assist you with your matter.

As a kind recommendation, please bear in mind that the first memory must be set close to the processor socket. Also, I would like to confirm the following:

Could you please provide me with the memory configuration you are using?

Before you have the issue, have you done any software or Hardware change?

If the answer is positive, could you please specify?

Your issue, still persist?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Angie

Hello Usagi,

After an extensive research, in some forums mention that the error that you get is the "6f".

This error you can see it due to a memory compatibility issue.

On the technical specs of your *https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/X99-DELUXE-II/specifications/ X99-DELUXE II, you can confirm that it requires a 8 x DIMM memory; and the one that you use *http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-lpx-32gb-2x16gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk32gx4m2b3000c15 Vengeance® Memory Kit (CMK32GX4M2B3000C15) it is a 2 x DIMM.

My suggestions at this point, it is to please try to use another RAM that fits with the compatibilities, that were mentioned on the website for the X99-DELUXE II.

*There you can access to the website for each product.

Please let me know how it goes in order to further assist you if required.

Best regards,

Angie
