Can't Register CPU

Hey guys,

 

I keep trying to register my brand new i9-10980XE, but for whatever reason it keeps telling me that my "serial number is in incorrect format."

 

I've used it the one on the box itself and it's a perfect match for the one on my emailed receipt as well. Even when I copy and paste, I have the same issue.

 

Any ides what might be going on?

I would like to let you know that the registration of an item is just needed for software development products and there is no need to register the item to claim warranty or technical support for other Intel products as you can see in the following link:

However, in order to better assist you, please provide the following:  


1. Are you developing software?

2. Why would you like to register your processor?

3. When you entered the markings on the "Warranty information" website, did you get the correct information?

Hi Scott,

 

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Unfortunately, I have already read, located, and tried the links provided.

I have attached some photos of the issue as well.

Any other ideas?
