Can't reduce CPU performance (Atom Z3800)

After upgrade my Asus E200HA to newest windows 10, I had to install all drivers once again. After that, I can't reduce CPU performance like I used to before in advanced power options. In settings are only low power mode setting, i cant set cpu performance up. Before I can do a lot more things with intel dynamic platform and thermal framework setting. Intel driver update utility do not recognize my processor. I have downloaded and installed all drivers again but the problem still exsist.

Is there something I could do? I only want to extend battery life, after that upgrade the netbook works for maybe 6 hours.

Thanks for the help in advance,

Jerry Coolt

jerrycoo: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Processors communities. We are sorry to hear that those options are not available anymore.

In regard to your inquiry, the issue is happening at software level since it started right after the update. The processor seems to be working just fine, however we can always run a test on it:

At this point what we recommend is install all the drivers provided by ASUS or to try a BIOS update to the latest version 303:

If the problem persists after that, then what we recommend is to get in contact directly with ASUS or Microsoft to get further assistance on this matter:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/

Any further questions, please let me know.

Thank u!

I ran winflash - the result is "The bios file is older than the current BIOs version". My version of bios is 303 with the date 12/21/2016. Update is also 303 but with the date 01/06/2017. I can't click update.

Intel Diagnostic Tool says my proccesor passed every test.

jerrycoo: Thank you very much for providing that information. The fact that the processor passed the test is always a good thing, it indicates that it should be working fine. The next thing to do then is the BIOS update, in order to do that, please get in contact directly with ASUS, they should be able to provide further suggestions or methods to update it.

Any questions, please let me know.

jerrycoo: I just wanted to check if you were able to get in contact with ASUS to gather the instructions of how to do a BIOS update and if the problem persists after that?

Any further questions, please let me know.
